Piping can be supplied as individual straight, elbows or tee fittings with flanges and gaskets for assembly. It can also be fabricated as spooled sections eliminating 2/3 of the flanged connections. Weld end connections with final field welding can also be supplied.
Materials of construction range from stainless to Tantalum. Design can be solid wall construction for Hastelloy, Titanium or Duplex Stainless Steel. Tantalum piping requires a substrate such as Carbon or Stainless Steel with a loose Tantalum lining. This type of design has been used successfully for over 50 years handling the most difficult chemical mixtures imaginable. Large diameter high pressure reactive metal requirements are handled with explosive clad designs.
ID polishing for Pharmaceutical requirements, jackets for heat transfer applications or dual containment designs can be supplied per customer requirements. Piping larger than 8" diameter is normally supplied as rolled and welded cylinders meeting the requirements of ASME Code, Section 8, Division I. The requirements of the European CE / PED, the Chinese SELO code or the German AD2000 code can also be met.
