New Managing Director of Engineered Products at TITAN

We are very pleased to announce to all TITAN Metal Fabricators, Inc. employees, partners and colleagues that Mr. Jeff Thomas has been appointed as the Managing Director of Engineered Products at our headquarters in Camarillo, California. TITAN’s Engineered Products group is a world leader in providing major capital process equipment serving the Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Mining and Steel Industries. Jeff has been serving as TITAN’s Vice President of Operations responsible for all manufacturing operations, including safety, production, facilities and compliance for 3 years. In Jeff’s new role, he will be responsible for all departments within our Engineered Products division in our quest to provide the world’s largest capacity in the detailed design and manufacturing of corrosion-resistant process equipment.
Mr. Thomas holds more than 15 years’ experience in the fabrication of process equipment. He has previously held the office of President for Futura Metal Technologies and AstroCosmos, both leaders in the fabrication of reactive metal products. He has 40 years of experience in general management and operations management of small and mid-sized manufacturing companies. He has led both cost reduction and sales growth initiatives in industries as diverse as appliances, building materials and capital goods; directing production activities in both production run and job shop environments. Mr. Thomas has worked internationally in the UK, France, Ireland, and Canada.
After graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and from Stanford University with an MBA, he spent 5 years as a Senior Manager with the Deloitte & Touche operations and business strategy consulting practices, leading projects with several Fortune 500 companies such as Hughes, Heinz, Corning, IBM and Dial.
We are very pleased to have such an experienced executive to lead TITAN’s Engineered Products team as we build upon our existing strengths and develop in exciting directions to ensure the sustained growth of our business.
